BulkMatch is designed for two groups: shippers (construction companies, groundworkers, water utilities, farms, quarries) who need to move bulk materials; and hauliers (tipper operators, tanker companies, grab hire firms, low-loader specialists) who want to find work efficiently.

Yes. The Free plan will be permanently free and includes browsing loads, quoting and a basic profile. You only pay when you complete jobs using BulkMatch payments. Founding members get 3 months of paid plan features free at launch.

At minimum: operator licence, public liability insurance. Waste carriers will need their waste carrier registration. Potable water tankers will need WRAS approval. FORS/CLOCS will be optional but displayed prominently. You'll upload PDFs to your profile.

We'll check your documents against the relevant regulatory bodies — DVSA for operator licences, Environment Agency for waste carriers, and so on. Our target is verification within 24 hours.

Unlimited on the Free plan. Quote on as many loads as you want. The compliance matching system means you'll only see loads your vehicles and certifications are qualified for.

When a shipper posts a load, they specify the material (e.g. contaminated soil) and vehicle type (e.g. tipper with waste carrier). The platform will only allow hauliers with the matching certifications to quote. No manual checking required.

Yes. The return load board is a core feature launching on day one. Hauliers will be able to register empty vehicles and find backloads matching their region, vehicle type and available material certifications.

Compliance is built into the matching engine — not added as an afterthought. Operator licences, waste carrier registrations, WRAS, ADR, FORS and CLOCS will all be verified at sign-up and re-verified at renewal. Expired credentials will block quoting automatically.

BulkMatch will be GDPR-compliant. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Supabase (hosted on AWS EU) for data storage. We will never sell user data to third parties.

The platform will notify hauliers as expiry approaches. Once expired, they'll be blocked from quoting on new loads until the renewed document is uploaded and verified.

No. You can arrange payment directly with the shipper (bank transfer, etc.). BulkMatch payments will be optional and offer fraud protection and faster payment processing.

The success fee is a percentage taken only when you complete a job using BulkMatch payments. Free plan: 15%. Pro: 5%. No fee if you arrange payment separately.

No setup fee. Founding members get 3 months free at launch, then move to a paid plan at the locked launch price.

Yes. Changes will take effect immediately and be pro-rated. Founding members keep their locked pricing regardless of which plan they choose.
