1. About BulkMatch

BulkMatch operates a UK bulk haulage marketplace connecting shippers with hauliers. These terms govern your use of the platform at app.bulkmatch.co.uk.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and a UK-based business to use BulkMatch. By registering you confirm you have authority to bind your company to these terms.

3. Accounts and verification

• All companies must be approved by BulkMatch before trading on the platform.
• Hauliers must hold a valid Operator Licence and any sector-specific certifications for loads they quote on.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that provide false information.

4. Posting loads and quoting

• Shippers are responsible for the accuracy of all load details posted.
• Hauliers are responsible for holding the correct licences for any load they quote on.
• Accepting a quote creates a binding agreement between shipper and haulier. BulkMatch is not a party to that contract.

5. Payments and fees

• Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. No refunds for partial months.
• A success fee applies when payments are processed through BulkMatch Payments. See our pricing page for current rates per tier (Free: 8%, Starter: 5%, Pro: 3%, Fleet: 1.5%).
• Payments are processed via Stripe. Haulier payouts via Stripe Connect Express.
• Funds are held until the shipper confirms job completion.

6. Compliance

Users are responsible for compliance with all applicable legislation including the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995, Environmental Protection Act 1990, ADR regulations, and Driver CPC requirements.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Posting false or fraudulent load details
• Quoting without holding required licences
• Circumventing the platform to avoid fees
• Harassing other users
• Automated scraping without written permission

8. Limitation of liability

BulkMatch is a marketplace and is not party to contracts between shippers and hauliers. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to subscription fees paid in that period.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
