Biosolids and slurry transport requires EA registration — manually verifying this each time adds unnecessary risk and admin.

Grain Trailer
Dedicated grain haulage. 25–30 tonne payloads. Food-grade trailers required for grain and animal feed. Often paired with tractor units.
Bulk Tanker
For liquid agricultural loads — slurry, liquid fertiliser, molasses, liquid animal feed. Appropriate EA registration for waste-classified materials.
Flatbed / Curtainsider
For packaged animal feed, fertiliser bags, baled straw and hay. Flexible for farm-to-farm or merchant deliveries.

BulkMatch will verify all of these at haulier sign-up and re-verify at renewal.
Operator Licence (O-Licence)
Required for commercial vehicles over 3.5t. BulkMatch verifies against DVSA at sign-up.
Basic Food Hygiene Awareness
Recommended for drivers handling grain and animal feed loads to prevent cross-contamination. BulkMatch will flag this on relevant job types.
EA Waste Carrier (Biosolids / Slurry)
Required where materials are classified as agricultural waste. BulkMatch will verify EA registration for relevant operators.

Animal feed, 25 tonne — Compound animal feed from mill in Norfolk to pig farm in Suffolk. Food-grade trailer required.
Slurry tanker work — 3 loads per week from dairy unit in Cheshire to local farmland spreading. EA registration required.
Biosolids — Treated sewage sludge from water treatment works in Yorkshire to agricultural land application. Licensed operator, spreading records maintained.
